Before we get started
BB-tools are a number of simple X-Window programs to display the status of different resources.
The style and part of the code is copied from Blackbox a small and extremely fast X11-Windowmanager.
Although the programs are written to be used with Blackbox, they should work in any other X11-Windowmanager.

A tool which can be controlled at run-time so you can use scripts, perl or whatever to display lights, loadbars, labels etc.
I will try to make an interface to perl. |

A tool which alarms you of a certain event.
* Interface through named pipe.
* Look will be similar to bbmail.
To activate an alarm the command could look something like:
